ABOUT

Since many years i am teaching at the school of Architecture at Chalmers university of technology in Gothenburg, Sweden. As a kid i was brought up with my father being an architect, and i was always fascinated by what was going on at his bureau. Images, drawings, models, lines, color and a lot of exciting people. 

I took a slightly different path though. I am educated as a sculptor and visual artist which eventually brought me back to architecture as a teacher. 

We travel a lot with our students and this has given me many opportunities to visit some remarkable places, meeting remarkable people.

As a photographer I have chosen to work exclusively with analogue photographic techniques.

The analogue photography workflow has a lot of friction and resistance within and in a way it reminds me of cutting stone.

The cameras i use are large and medium format cameras of different kinds and brands.
